Inspection and cleaning happen in the browser. The tool does not upload the photo to the server. JPEG cleaning removes EXIF/XMP, APP13/IPTC and comments; PNG cleaning removes tEXt, zTXt, iTXt, eXIf and tIME.
🔐 Why this matters
A photograph can contain information that is invisible in the pixels: capture location, device, software, date and author fields. Before publishing it, you can check what travels with the image.
The tool performs no visual recognition and does not attempt to identify people or places shown in the image.
